A beautiful article about Pietro Ubaldi published in Sabedoria magazine

Missionaries – Sabedoria Magazine 1972 – By Carlos Torres Pastorino.

There are many people who call themselves “missionaries,” attributing to themselves lofty and sublime missions, yet we never observe any trace of these self-imposed missions.

However, a few, quietly carry out gigantic tasks, never boasting, never creating personal works, never attributing grandeur or privilege to themselves.

Recently, one of Christ’s Great Missionaries physically left our planet: Pietro Ubaldi. He bequeathed to humanity an invaluable collection of works, among which stands out The Great Synthesis,” in which the evangelical messianism of Christ is revived in the 20th century.

But the instrument of this work lived in silence, acting discreetly, almost afraid of being seen and noticed, hiding as much as possible from the eyes of men, solely dedicated to his immense and valuable labour.

By his very position, he manifested his immeasurable greatness. Through his modesty, he revealed himself as a true disciple of Christ. Through his Gospel living, he demonstrated who he was. And if all that were not enough, the words of Emmanuel, spoken through the mouth of Chico Xavier, would attest to the origin of this Spirit of elite: “Pietro Ubaldi interprets the thought of the High Spiritual Spheres, from where he comes.”

The testimony is valid, especially since it was requested not to be disclosed during his time on Earth, but only after his passing. It was necessary to prevent him from being martyred in his seclusion by curious individuals who would take away precious time from his work of the new revelation.

Humility at all times, he always sought the opinion of friends regarding what he wrote, almost fearing that he had not fully grasped the thought of the High Spiritual Spheres.

By being truly humble and detached, he became great. It doesn’t matter who he was in previous lives; it is opportune to reflect on who he was in this last passage among us. (…)
