Summary
Guys, good night.
We have studied that evolution takes place in three major fields:
The first field of evolution and the one that we understand the most is the individual one. It is the evolution that goes from individualism to individuality, from the ego to the self.
This process takes place through self-knowledge, self-illumination, self-transformation. This is the process of inner enlightenment, of inner discovery.
But evolution also takes place at a collective level, we evolve collectively. The collective unit is the ‘I and the neighbour’ and the main unit of collective action is the family. So it is I, the neighbour, the family, the collectivity and the totality.
So we evolved from a binary unit, I and the next, to wholeness. This process takes place mainly through the family field.
And Jesus told us a lot about it when he said: Love your neighbour as yourself.
This is the law of collective evolution.
The law of individual evolution is: You are gods. That is, the discovery of all the potentialities that are within our soul.
But at the same time we also evolve in God. The presence of God is omnipresent in our soul, it is a non-local connection, it is a manifestation. We evolve in God from negation until ‘I and the father are one’. That is, until unification.
The law that governs this process is the one that Jesus also says: ‘Love God above all things’.
That it is in the ten commandments, in fact it is the first commandment, and that Jesus repeats giving us exactly the law that directs this whole phenomenon.
Now this whole process takes place within vibrational fields. These vibrational fields are usually of magnetic or electromagnetic origin, it is the basis of the universe.
Until today, science has already discovered the electromagnetic field, it has discovered electricity, but within the vision that not only the spiritist doctrine offers us, but also several other currents of thought, mainly Pietro Ubaldi, it shows that in fact the spectrum electromagnetic field is much more extensive than what we can measure on earth.
If we have several senses of electromagnetism, which includes light, we can say that thought, as Emmanuel, André Luiz tells us, is also electromagnetic, except that it is part of an electromagnetic field of a dimension superior to that we are.
So if we were to put the spectrum of light, for example, we could say infrared, visible light and ultraviolet, and right after ultraviolet would be mental light, that is, it would be the logical continuity of light itself.
So if we think of light as a basic element that unifies our thought, (Professor gestures) then we can say that here is light, above is mental vibration, above is spiritual vibration, always light.
Brother Áureo in the book Universe and Life says that thought is always light.
If we take the Epistle of John, he says: God is love, God is light.
Exactly to give us the idea of the process, so I think the light helps a lot.
And if we think like João Magueijo who is a Portuguese scientist, that he has a book that is very cool, if we think that each universe is nothing more than a speed limit. Our universe would be within the limit of the speed of light. Now other universes would exist at speeds greater than the speed of light.
The theory of relativity does not allow a speed greater than the speed of light for any material element.
Then we begin to understand that what exists above as light is information.
So we can say that our universe is made up of consciousness, information, energy, matter.
And consciousness is a field, an electromagnetic field that encompasses countless minds.
So collectively we have a mental field.
Individually we have a personal field where we absorb through memory.
So you can see that all our thinking is based on memory.
That makes what Krishnamurti says very right, he says it like this: Thought is always past.
Because thought is always memory, you fill thought with memory, it is always memory. So consequently it is a tool.
As we have already seen here, this tool is an initial tool in a process, as we evolve our vibration increases in frequency.
Ubaldi goes so far as to say that to evolve is to increase the frequency. That is, you will increasingly have a faster frequency and increasingly externalize a greater vibratory field.
So we can say that everything is vibration, in fact there is no solidity, there is vibration.
This vibration is represented by waves and represented by particles and is always inserted in a field. That is, a field of force that expresses this force. That force can either be that wave or information.
So we can say that the universe has a zero field, it has an information field that surrounds everything. Within that field we have a familiar field, this familiar field encompasses us completely and our mind is just a part of the process.
So I have a mind, there’s a personal mind, there’s a collective mind. This personal mind is dual, it is always dual, it will always be in two divergent positions because that is our content. Duality is present throughout the universe.
Above it is a familiar field, there is a collective field that is also dual, and above that is cosmic consciousness.
As Bert Hellinger says: Every time we exclude, every time we feel like extermination, every time we withdraw from the environment, be it group, social, or family, the vibration remains in the group and the vibration remains in two ways.
Nowadays there are some studies that are starting to be debated, for example, let’s assume that I have a particle in a certain environment and I remove this particle, let’s say. The hole that remains from this particle also reacts with the environment and has a series of properties, look how interesting.
This idea that starts to be part of the research, and logically it is not as simple as I am saying, but every time you create, do something, you immediately create in yourself the void of that vibration and within that void is filled by the other’s reaction.
Let’s suppose I get here and offend Francisco, Francisco will be all charged with the vibration that I offended. Immediately his vibration fills the emptiness and bitterness that will remain in my soul for having humiliated him, and that vibration remains in the psychic field of being.
It is what causes all the imbalances of disharmony that we have in our soul because it accumulates from one reincarnation to another.
So everything we do to others immediately creates a whole reaction content within us.
It is exactly the reaction of the field and the personal reaction that generates the field of disharmony. The reaction of the field will find someone to express it and the individual reaction in us will find disharmony through image struggles.
So every time you break certain struggles in your psyche, pay attention to what you did because that struggle originates within that content. Every time depressions arise, sadness arises, anguish arises that you don’t know where it comes from, this is connected.
– There was a cut in the video class –
Always remember these three fields individually.
So if we are children of the same father, every divine action in us is one of union, is of unification.
If we have a collective mind, the cosmic consciousness that directs this whole process, and you remember well when I showed you the Rubik’s cube.
(Professor shows Rubik’s cube) I showed that there is cosmic consciousness up here, I even represented it by this white part.
So cosmic consciousness is always the consciousness of union.
The system that is omnipresent in us is always one of union. So there’s no way you can delete it.
That’s why from one reincarnation to another, all those who made mistakes, all those who were victims and all those who helped the union come back with identical opportunities to rebuild the process anew.
So you see that the process is very big, it’s a lot of pressure.
(Professor shows cube) And at the same time as it is in the volumetric consciousness, which I represent here with our cube, it also has the real which is the action that we perform and the virtual which is what we projects when we perform an action. Every action we do here is designed equal and contradicts here when it is for evil.
So we can say that we immediately have a real action, a virtual action that will be in our psyche and will direct our action until we rescue it.
Every time we act like this and I’ll explain it better, there are even some drawings that Adalto made that will help us a lot to see this later.
(Drawing on the blackboard) So, look here: We have a field of thought, that which belongs to us, which is totally based on memory, and it is always dual, at the same time, we have the collective field, which it is always dual.
(Drawing on the blackboard) So the two are dual, but up here we have the field of cosmic consciousness, which is not dual.
Within this process we will have individually, everything we take to others, it returns to us in the form of emptiness, filled by the vibration of the other, and not just filled.
Emmanuel goes so far as to say that it is not only filled by the vibration of the other, it is filled by the vibration of the other associated with every mind that this other is associated with.
(Drawing on the blackboard) So, in fact, you send an arrow and receive several arrows, it adds up.
This process falls on you here, associate this process with the dynamics that come from the highest, which is always one of union.
What Bert Hellinger said: We have a much bigger soul than we can think, it goes to the union.
Within, intrinsically are the divine forces and the system forces, which are also for unification and wholeness.
And on top of that we still have our volumetric consciousness, it is always volumetric, and what happens?
What you produce here you invert here. What you produce for good here complements here, so there’s no way.
In your mind, in your field of consciousness, you already have the model of what you will have to do in the rescue.
(Drawing on the blackboard) It is for this reason that when you arrive at the rescue phase, here you have produced evil, when you are going to produce the same amount and of the same size is when this evil comes to the rescue.
That’s why you say: The person is so good and suffered so much.
Why?
When you walk in the same direction and on the same path and let’s say “in the same amount” of what you generated in the past, you receive the action because this action of pain will be the impetus for the continuity of progress here.
(Drawing on the blackboard) So, I made a mistake that size, when I’m doing good at that size, I’ll rescue it.
The pain that I’m going to rescue here will be the impulse that I’m going to expand with the good that I’m doing.
So you can imagine the pressure we suffer when we make a mistake, the inner pressure caused by what we act, by the emptiness it causes and by the immediate association with the immediate vibration of those we hurt or injured or whatever we did.
Then we suffer the pressure of the cosmic consciousness that seeks union, then the inner person suffers from the divine omnipresence and the omnipresence of the system and, above all, from the virtual images that are automatically built for rescue in the future.
So then what the being do?
It enters into a deep struggle, hence the reason why you still suffer pressure from the field, finding people in the field who will represent those you have excluded, either from the group or from the family.
So, it is for this reason that it leads us to so much suffering and it is also for this reason that many emotional states that we have and that we cannot explain are linked either to the family field or to the reincarnatory field.
It is in this rescue process, hence the urgency that we have to do certain things: “I can not do this, I have to do that”, because the psychic pressure that we feel in the unconscious and that just a little part drains into consciousness.
That’s why we have to walk.
So the pressure you suffer is the pressure that tells you what to do. You say: “I am distressed”, share joy. “I am depressed”, visit the lonely.
If you do the equal and opposite action you start to compensate your field even when you don’t have that stimulus yet. The action is only compensated by the opposite process.
What Emmanuel says: In today’s world feeling lonely is a voluntary trial.
If we act in the same and opposite direction, we will be creating elements that will unify our soul with the superior fields to make the modification.
What is the way the person does when the pressure is too great? Either it surrenders and transforms or one revolts, but each time one revolts, the pressure increases.
It revolts, is trapped in the revolt as we see in the various reports by André Luiz showing this. Each time one gets more involved in revolt and acts more in evil, the more pressure one suffers, because it is intrinsic, the process cannot be separated. It even goes on and reaches a certain limit point, this limit point is when this barrier of evil is broken and the spirit gives way in the attempt to lead.
And every act we do, we tend to repeat.
So, be careful with the choice of acts because they form a repetition mechanism because the trajectory is continuous, what you emitted you tend to do again and again. We have to be careful with the trajectories that we launch.
During class someone asks:
Just to see if I understood correctly: Are you sad and to see the equal and opposite impulse are you going to visit someone happy?
Teacher replies:
No. It’s not that you’re going to visit someone happy, it’s the following: You’re going to try to be useful. André Luiz has a phrase that I really like, he says it like this: ‘Happiness is the only thing we can give without having it’.
It’s exactly the opposite of what we think, because in fact, when the person is in need, they don’t ask you how you are, they ask you and when you give, be it from affection to material assistance, they won’t know how you are, they will be grateful that got it from you.
Student asks:
It’s because you said the person is depressed to go visit a lonely person. Is the lonely not sad too?
Teacher answers
Is sad. That’s why you go there to help him: “No, my son, don’t stay like that”, then you evangelize him and you.
(Teacher jokes) The two of you might start crying, if there are problems, but at least you’re not crying alone anymore, you’re crying with someone else, that’s already an advantage. A collective cry is better than no cry at all.
This is how we rebuild the process.
If we always had this commitment there, I believe that we would transform, and we will spend a lot of time because how many unfavourable images and how much disharmony planting have we already done inside our soul? It is huge.
Continuing
Slide 01 – Conflicts are part of the evolution, but exclusions we can’t have
(Teacher reads slide)
“Conflicts are an integral part of the evolution of individuals and groups. However, through essential understandings, they can be resolved in another way, with more care and with recognition of different needs and the limits imposed on commonly adopted solutions. For, in the last instance, all peace requires some renunciation.”
So we don’t deny the conflict. Having conflict in the middle in the face of the evolution we are in is a natural thing.
Now the question we have to ask is the following: What am I doing with the conflicts in my life? The way I proceed?
We will have conflict because there is no group without conflict, the family group is a group with conflict.
There are people who think: “No, I wanted my family to be all harmonized”. But you don’t have an angel, you only have devils in the house, how will everything be harmonized? We are far from that harmony.
What do we have to do? Let’s live together, and what will we always do? We can disagree, we can fight, we can sulk at each other, but it’s transient, nobody excludes anybody, nobody condemns anybody, nobody judges anybody.
Because the moment you do that, whatever happens, the group is united.
Anyone who does something really bad will have to deal with the consequences, but they won’t have to deal with the group’s judgment.
So if we do this and maintain this unity, we will cross any barrier.
Remember that it’s not that thing: “Ah, my family, everything harmonized”. No, it’s not sublimated at all, we are in the world and that’s how it is in the world.
Now, we can never reach the point of exclusion.
We can never reach the point of extermination, we can never reach the point of exclusion from the group, we can never reach the point of becoming totally indifferent to the other, not that.
The ten commandments, Jesus sends us the ten commandments, it is like a divine word, but in fact it is a divine word because it is Christ who dictates. It is when He sends us the ten commandments, He is setting limits. So, until Moses we do not have a limit, except the most advanced souls, but we who have always belonged to the non-evolved being, we have no limit.
When he arrives: “Thou shalt not kill”. He is already placing a limit, “Thou shalt not commit adultery” is already placing a limit. That is, you can see that with the exception of the first commandment, all the others are negative: No. That is, he is putting a limit on rebuilding our soul.
So, we also have in our family life, in our group life the limit is: No one is excluded.
We can fight, but every fight has to end in agreement. Okay, it’s the second resolution.
Everything has to be transitory: I got sulky, but it has to be at a certain time, get on with it soon.
Because no one will exclude and everyone is accepted. We can analyze the fact, but we cannot judge, we cannot condemn.
And each bears the natural consequences of the process, but he is not left without support.
(Teacher reads slide) I really like these expressions: Essential understandings.
This part I find very interesting: Essential understandings.
That is, there is a certain limit that will not reach our life, there is a certain behaviour that the family will not assume.
And understanding is sought in everything and collectively we do the same thing.
You see collectively we created the laws to judge the citizens, logically this is highly necessary. They are judged and go to jail, but jail has become a field of revenge. Nowadays, jail is a social revenge when it should be a rehabilitation school, but it has become a social revenge because the mistake was made, everyone judges and everyone thinks that the person has to suffer, then they really suffer in the field of revenge.
This socially as a citizen we will have to help fix.
Slide 02 – “I would never do that”
(Teacher reads slide)
“Peace in a mental field presupposes that everyone who is part of it is equally recognized as such. This only happens when the “good guys” have fully understood the bad and dangerous side of a good conscience.
Only then can they go beyond their borders, facing the feeling of guilt and bad conscience. Only then can they grant the rejected, especially the rejected people, a place with equal rights in this field.”
What happens to good conscience?
A good conscience is he who excludes himself. Then the person made a serious mistake, he excludes himself.
“I would never do that”, “What the other did is absurd”.
And we’ve already seen here that there’s no way around it, we’re flour from the same bag. That is, everything that humanity have, we have.
No human act is disconnected from our intimate nature. You can currently not make the choice.
If you condemn someone for a mistake he made, if you reincarnate just for that, you are lost, because you say this to your current life: “You did that”, and he turns around and says: No, but last month you did that . The person still asks: What morals are you judging me with?
What is reincarnation? It’s just a day in the life of each of us.
If you didn’t do it now, three reincarnations ago, four reincarnations ago, five reincarnations ago you did.
How can we judge?
We have to understand and let the law, be it human law or divine law act, but understanding the individual.
Now I cannot become distinguished. What does it mean to become distinguished? “I don’t do that and I think it’s absurd what was done and you’re a monster”.
Now the person who will go through the process will have a process to go through, he will have to reach remorse, he will have the guilt, he will have to have the way in which he will rescue the process, he will suffer the pressure of the images, it is natural that he will suffer. This will not be removed, there is no way to remove it, there is a way to alleviate it.
That expression that Jesus speaks: ‘Come to me you who suffer and are burdened because I will give you rest’.
He doesn’t speak like this: ‘No, I will release you from the burden you carry’.
No, I’ll lighten up. Now you will have to carry what you yourself have generated. I relieve, I take care of, I support, but you will have to take care of yourself.
So, the same thing, we are not going to rule out the reaction of the law or the reaction of human justice, but we are going to support so that this can be done as a re-educational process for the person to reacquire inner conditions.
Of course he will feel remorse, of course he will feel guilty. But remember: Remorse, when used well, is the beginning of transformation.
Slide 03 – Family patterns
(Teacher reads slide)
“Inside a field, the vision of its members is limited, and patterns are repeated, including human behaviour patterns. This happens, above all, because the rejected also reject, with good conscience, those who rejected them. The conflict between the two sides boils down to a conflict between two opposing good consciences. Both sides are limited, and each side imagines that it has beaten the other and got rid of it. This turns the wheel of conflict in such a way that alternately the “good guys” are seen as the “bad guys” and vice versa.”
So, that person who is rejected also walks towards rejection.
“Oh, my family doesn’t care about me, I don’t care about my family either”, and this process starts what we call a circle, that is, it starts to repeat itself like a pattern, it will repeat like a pattern and passes from one generation to another.
If that stays in the field, tomorrow the fight between grandfather, grandmother, grandfather and grandmother’s family, our uncles, will arise again in family conflict.
So much so that if you are careful to do a survey on the family, you will see that generally we are within the same psychic structure, we are repeating the same acts, we are collectively repeating the same behaviour. Give it a study.
“Oh, no, look, in my family there is too much conflict between daughter and mother”, takes a look behind.
“All the men in the family are shameless, scoundrel”, you can see that they are all like that, devils, repeats the same thing.
Do a family study on the side of seeing repeating patterns.
It doesn’t just repeat patterns in taste, food, way of life, it repeats patterns. You take it like this and say that there are nephews who look a lot like certain uncles, who look a lot like the uncles of our parents’ uncles. Take a look to see if this isn’t there.
A family, for example, that comes in the field of violence and often stays there for one, two, three, four, five generations doing the same behaviour, the same pattern, hysteria pattern, suicide pattern. It is inside the field and will be assimilated by the field.
And there’s only one way: If someone wakes up and says: Enough!
Let’s properly articulate this here, let’s order this field so that the next generations will be without this psychic weight.
Because that’s a weight.
If the person already has the tendency, he assimilates that and repeats.
So we have to do a study of the family and the way it behaves and you will see the patterns, the patterns will be very clear.
We can see these patterns today through diseases, say like this: Did your grandmother have cancer? Did your mother have cancer? Has anyone in your family had cancer?
When the doctor asks this what does he want to know? A genetic pattern, a pattern that comes from one generation to another and the risk that you may be included, but think that this is for everything.
Pattern of hurt, pattern of offense, pattern of fight, pattern of extermination, pattern of hysteria, pattern of matriarchy, pattern of man and woman relationship, pattern with children, pattern with the way of living with people in the group. They are repeating patterns.
And all those who were excluded for some reason will find in their own generation or soon after people who represent them because a force that collectively we will have to work.
When we talk about individual evolution here and we talk about collective evolution here, we have to work on individual forces and we have to work on collective forces.
We are responsible both for the individual part and for the collective part and we will have to work on these strengths.
We will have to understand why there are certain spirits that individually have already reached a certain evolutionary level that return, seek help, seek to rebuild even those who are already distant.
Let’s take, for example, the case of Celia in the book Fifty Years Later, who returns later as Alcione. Today we already know that Alcíone and Celia are the same personality.
They already lived on Sirius (planet), in fields already unified by love, but you see that only in this period of 1000 and a few years she return twice to help the loved ones who stayed behind from another planet.
So you want the process, in a little while we can understand that it’s not just the family collective field, but the collective field of the various incarnated and disembodied families and those who have already sublimated.
If you read the book Nosso Lar it’s there: Veneranda is the spirit that already lives far above, but that is here waiting for the advance of certain loved ones who remained behind.
So you see, it’s already far away.
The same thing will happen to us, tomorrow when we evolve – God willing we don’t go to inferior planet – but go there and get the loved ones who went there.
There’s no way, you go for two reasons: You go because you go with the crowd or you go to help the crowd to return.
Either you are in the cake or you are going to help make the cake, there is no way around it. The process is supportive.
You can individually achieve a great process, but you will continue to help the collective.
You will continue to transform the collective until this collective sublimate, then the collective starts to help, which is why the humanities are solidary.
So all that humanity that has on other planets, remembering that the most backward form of life is ours, that’s why man is looking for an equal form of life, but there is no equal. It’s the same as a pig looking for a pig all over the place.
Who lives in mud but you don’t live in mud? Do you not eat wash? The pig will look for a pig all over the place, he will never understand the life of a hummingbird, life is a pig’s life, how will he understand the life of a hummingbird?
So are we, on the evolutionary scale we are in the densest part of the matter. Other lives will never be like ours. To find another life like ours, you have to find planets outside our solar system that have life similar to ours and are on the same evolutionary plane. Then piggy will find piggy, apart from that, those who live in the hummingbird phase, those who already live in the well-evolved stages of life, where they no longer depend on material life, you say like this: But how will there be life on Mars? How will life be on Jupiter? Because it no longer depends on physical life, it’s radiation.
Remember that fluid is like vibration. They are much higher vibrations.
Puts vibration elevation. Let’s assume that we live here in the universe of the speed of light where the phenomena at most is the speed of light, so put it there: C⁴, C¹⁰, and we would have more and more vibrational lives equal to ours, but vibration that does not suffer the influence of the denser vibrations.
That is why the spiritist doctrine states that the whole universe is populated, it is not populated with physical life similar to ours, based on carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, but it is a vibrational life.
The higher the elevation, the higher the frequency, the higher the speed of the wave. So it doesn’t depend on the plan.
We have life on our side in spirit colonies that we don’t see, where it suffers much less influence from gravity than it does here.
There is no spiritual account saying that the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki destroyed the perispirit of the colonies that was on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That is, the atomic irradiation affected our bodies, but probably did not affect our perispirits, those who were disincarnated in nearby colonies, because it is not influenced because the type of matter is completely different, so is the universe.
So we are actually citizens of the universal family. In this citizen of the universal family, who is most backward is us because there are also primitive worlds, but in the primitive world evolution is within the deterministic field.
In a world like ours, where evil predominates, a world of atonement and proof, we are no longer in the deterministic, we are in the deterministic married with the complementary, with choice, with free will because we have already developed reason, we have already developed the possibility of choice.
That, all I’m saying here is just to say one thing: It doesn’t exclude anyone.
During class someone asks:
You said that when you go to the doctor, the doctor always asks if there is this problem, I just wanted you to talk about what happened that we learned about Angelina Jolie that she had her breasts removed to not have cancer. How do you see it?
Teacher answers:
I see this a bit radical, I think it’s a radical decision. But I understand that within the sphere of her knowledge, it may be that this sphere is the one that dictated a conduct for her and she had, as published, if true, an 87% chance of developing the pathology, so logically she already got rid of the pattern.
I mean, she tries to avoid the pattern with surgery.
She cannot say whether the mental, emotional pattern continues the cancer will appear elsewhere, it will not be in the breast, but that it is a proposal in the sense of at least physically escaping the psychic process is clear, but we cannot say that this process will not occur if the mental and emotional behaviour continues.
Asks off the microphone and the teacher responds:
It depends on the pattern, that’s the pattern.
It’s getting rid of the genetic pattern, it is not getting rid of the psychic pattern.
Now it could be that the moment she does such an action, she also does a mental act of cutting that pattern, so it’s a modification.
Slide 04 – The ‘just’ should be the one who understands more
(Teacher reads slide)
“The greatest obstacle to reconciliation between “good” and “bad” is the just. They are the ones who have the most aggressive feelings.”
The just should be exactly the opposite, the just should be that word. That is, the one who understands the most.
That’s why it says that God helps the soul by the soul and the man by the man.
Because actually, in order for you to help someone, you already have to go wrong on that path, you become much more understandable. When we’ve already made a mistake on the same path, we understand much more. Now those who stand out and say, “No, I’m not capable of doing that.” Automatically, his justice is just exclusion, not justice.
Now, when there is a sinner who does the same act, who did the same act, who achieved it and is trying to redeem himself, he will understand much more.
So that’s exactly what we have to see, this process.
And remember that reincarnation is for that. If I believe in reincarnation, if I am sure of reincarnation, how can I speak? I may be doing okay here now, but ten reincarnations ago I was doing the same thing or even worse. How can you say no?
What is the difference between 10 days, 100 days, one year, 200 years, 300 years? None.
Slide 05 – A perpetrator is also a human being like us
(Teacher reads slide)
“When someone says, for example: “These perverts must be rejected, they deserve jail”, he himself becomes a perpetrator. Anyone who rejects them has the same murderous feelings that he attributes to them. As long as we find this moral distinction between good and bad, we cannot help. It must be recognized that a perpetrator is also a human being like us.”
Everyone is human.
“Oh no, you killed four, you killed five, you raped, it is okay.” No, not like that. It’s like this: “You will have to absorb the consequences of your actions, but I will help you”.
During class someone asks a question:
If the person has no tendency, is the family pattern repeated in that person?
Teacher replies:
There’s no doubt.
First, you can’t help but bring this tendency, it can be in the unconscious, it can be inside you and you are not aware of it. Anyone will repeat.
Let’s take the example that I like to take the most: Francis of Assisi, who is perhaps the example of someone who overcame the barrier of personality.
Francis of Assisi, who is the being who broke his personality, who managed to leave the field of personality and experience the spirit.
You see that in the first years of his life he repeats the family pattern and echoes his father’s dreams, he wants to become a knight, he wants to become a lord of power, he corresponds to his father’s desires, he wants to become that that his father hopes he will become and he dreams of becoming a famous gentleman, there are several passages from the life of Francis of Assisi about this.
Up to the point that he is arrested, that he will be arrested in Perugia, he will be imprisoned in Umbria for a long time, he spends almost two years in prison. His father rescues, they arrested him in order to receive money, he gets sick, in this process he starts to break with the family pattern, he starts to break with that pattern that also fostered his soul.
So many times it’s not that we don’t have a tendency, it’s just that it’s asleep. It’s not that we don’t have the inclination, it’s asleep, then the pattern that is in the active family, what is in us, is always in tune.
Remember that I’ve explained here several times, it’s always resonance and tune. There’s no such thing as what I don’t have, usually those who think they don’t have it are excluding it. A We have everything, we are humanity.
Now I can turn this content into content to help others: “Make friends with the wealth of iniquity”.
This content can be latent waiting for a test that many times will open this content in my soul and I can overcome it through inner effort, through creative effort as happened with Francis of Assisi.
So much so that when Francis of Assis manages to overcome his father, the father excludes him. He remembers that he takes it to the bishop and excludes him from everything, excludes him from his family, excludes him from his name, excludes him from his clothes. It excludes everything and he accepts the exclusion because at that moment he understands that he is already part of a much bigger family.
We are in a family, everything that is in the family, we have in our soul. We may be giving new directions, but what is in the family belongs to us and what is in the human, we are the same.
Slide 06 – The collective conscience acts with much more force than the personal conscience
(Teacher reads slide)
“All transgressions of the collective conscience are committed in good conscience. It is it who brings tragic heroes to their doom. The collective conscience acts with much more force than the personal conscience. Thus, there is only a solution for tragic involvements when the would-be hero humbly withdraws, feeling that he is the smallest, and manages to resist his good conscience.
How is it possible to achieve this? – When, instead of following personal conscience, we look at what is convenient and possible for the collective conscience, soberly pondering the effects of both behaviours. So maybe we can avoid tragedies.”
So, we have a habit, for example, of taking certain figures like Hitler and putting in him the shadow of everything that happened in the Second World War, but the process was collective.
Hitler, Stalin, Mao Zedong, Truman, all are very similar and the whole population was inferred about that, rare were those capable of behaving in a totally divergent way.
Look at the magnificent example we had on a collective level:
You see that Mandela is maturing little by little: He wanted an armed struggle, he wanted reparation, he wanted a dispute, until he was arrested.
By the time he leaves, he doesn’t want to build a black-only government in Africa.
He doesn’t exclude whites and everyone gets angry because they want exclusion and everyone goes crazy over him because they want whites to suffer what blacks suffered and when he doesn’t exclude and starts to show the importance of this love, the importance of this affection, the importance of this kindness, he changed a country because he did not exclude.
So, when he didn’t exclude, he unifies.
And each one assuming the responsibilities it had to assume before the law, he did not exclude. Africa could be a thousand times worse, the white would be fighting the black.
The moment he does not exclude and unify in the field of love, he transcends.
Sri Aurobindo is another. Remember when we studied here Sri Aurobindo?
A political activist who wanted armed struggle until he got arrested and had no connection to the traditions.
Suddenly, he transforms and decides to do the opposite of everything here. So, the process is always collective.
Now the individualities that manage to be part of a superior collective, understand and help, but it is the collective.
What I’ve already drawn here: The waves that find their mediums, but it’s collective, and then we had a huge performance.
The same thing that Gandhi did with India, it could have just been through war, but Gandhi took it until he achieved independence without the need for war in the way that it was. No one believed this was possible.
That’s why when Jesus comes to us, He is not stuck in a historical aspect of the world, wanting group solutions, Jew against Roman, Roman against Jew and so many other things that existed.
His pursuit is to plant the kingdom of heaven.
What is planting the kingdom of heaven? Everyone has a right and everyone is a part of it.
That’s why he says: God who makes the sun and makes the rain on the just and unjust.
Slide 07 – We can try to exclude it, but come back until the collective addresses that issue
(Teacher reads slide)
“The collective conscience does not know the distinction between good and bad, in the sense of personal conscience. In the domain of collective conscience, no one can be excluded, not even those who are judged bad by personal conscience.
He who, under its influence, was banished as allegedly evil, is brought back, under the influence of the collective conscience, through someone who represents him.”
So, there’s no way. I can try to exclude it, but come back until the collective addresses that issue.
In the same way that we deal with individual problems, we also have to deal with collective problems because evolution takes place in three ways: Individual, collective and divine.
During class someone asks:
When you publish a book or take a course, something like that that influences the social community, is it a way for you to treat this collective part?
Teacher replies:
Undoubtedly. It’s a way for you to contribute and when you also write low content books you get stuck in that image and that group that feeds from your book.
Today it is very fashionable for you to have great pastors with large communities.
Whoever you add to yourself is who you will have to lead.
These are responsibilities that we assume collectively, a book is an immense responsibility that keeps repeating patterns over the years until it disappears.
Do you imagine those who write bad books, not in the sense of judging the value of the book, but in the sense of lesser quality contents. The person when is in the spiritual plane is praying that it will not be republished , praying that it disappears from the shelf, disappears so no one find it. I mean, it must be crazy because what we feed in the collective and keep our soul on it.
If you want to see this, just read Missionaries of the Light, there is an example of a writer that André Luiz shows us, who is producing low-content books and he studies the case and shows what will happen to him in the future.
So, now also when you give a book in which you enlighten people, help people, help people to overcome barriers, help people to overcome themselves, I mean, that is an invaluable contribution.
Slide 08 – Nobody replaces anybody
(Teacher reads slide)
“What the collective conscience considers bad and culpable is precisely the exclusion of someone, therefore, exactly the opposite of what the conscience of the person deems good. Pressured by personal conscience, the individual, based on the feeling of innocence, is induced to do something that violates the collective conscience. For example, a son, acting out of love, tries to assume, instead of his parents, the atonement for some guilt.
With that, although he feels innocent, he puts himself above his parents, making himself guilty before the collective conscience. Consequently, under the pressure of this conscience, his action fails.”
Personal conscience usually judges in a moral sense, breaks or condemns. The collective conscience puts exclusion as the most inhumane act.
Best way to think of it, I like to think of it: Put a loop, a line connecting each of our heads and this line working like a gum. If you push it, if you throw it away, will it work? Will not return? There’s no way, so think like this: Every time I want to exclude, to exterminate, I say: Guys, but he’s attached to me like a piece of gum.
Any being is connected to another.
Then take all the human beings and connect them with a line, head to head, and this line is like a piece of gum: The further you move it, the more force it will have in return because it will stretch like a rubber band and it will come back.
Now you think you’re evolving, you’re evolving, you’re going up, aren’t all the people who are staying below connected to you? Do you understand why you come back? And for you to keep going you have to go back and up, back and up.
We are interconnected.
The best way is to materialize it, put it on a line connecting everyone’s heads, but it’s a line that doesn’t break, there’s no point in cutting it, breaking it, it’s made of rubber, gum, because gum is good because it sticks.
That’s how we are, all human beings, the known and the unknown.
Now, in acquaintances and in those we live with, the gum is thicker. If we think like this, it makes it easier for us to reason about the process. So, there’s no point in excluding it and there’s no way to cut it, there’s no way to remove it, there’s no way to end it. We are Siamese twins by evolutionary birth. Let’s call it the bubble gum Siamese now. There’s no way to separate.
So what’s the use of exclusion? Isn’t it much better to accept, educate, help, overcome, forgive, lift, re-educate than to exclude to have to receive again?
Every time that urge comes that we all have and there’s no point in denying it. We said here at the beginning, we are humanity.
The desire to kill, the desire to exclude, the desire to let go, this is natural, you can have it. It doesn’t matter, that you can have it.
Many times you will have a certain moment when you will say: “I don’t even want to see it”. All right, but he doesn’t even want to see it for a month. I don’t want to see it for two months, excellent. It can’t be forever but you can be sulk.
“I don’t want to talk, I don’t want to hear you”. The phone rings, you look at the number and ignore.
It’s okay, it’s the human side that you’ll need to kick your ass to get out of the process, but remember that you have a commitment: Never exclude.
You can pick up the baseball bat, hit it in the ear, but then you’ll have to help with the bandage.
(Teacher reads slide again)
It happens too much.
And the son is still considered a hero. He goes there, picks up the father who is fragile.
Let’s assume, the father is an alcoholic, the father who is morally fragile, he goes, takes over the house and excludes the father and everything that has a bad example is the father’s fault. This process will take place in the field and later his son will repeat the process.
He can often take on the burden: “Wait a minute, I’ll help here”, but without excluding the father. Without putting himself in the position of a father because he is not a father, he is a son. We cannot reverse the hierarchy.
You can give him some word, “Dad, come here”, and give him some word.
But remember: You can’t take the place, you can’t diminish the figure of the father, you can’t assume the role of the father, you can’t assume the father’s guilt.
These are responsibilities that each soul has to assume for itself.
You see Jesus, he doesn’t take the position of Peter. “Peter, you’re going to deny me”. He doesn’t say: “Come here Peter, stay close to me so you never deny me”.
And Peter went there to assume his responsibility, he spoke to Judas too, but he does not assume the role.
Each one of us has a role, and due to our envy, we always wants to replace the other.
“Ah, I want to replace the other one at the head because I think I will be a better boss than him”, “I want to replace the other one at home”, “I want to replace everything”.
A woman then despises her husband and assumes everything: “I am a father and a mother because my husband is a swine”.
It created a huge problem and who is going to show this problem? The children.
So that’s what I always say, and I say a lot to my patients: When any mother and father does 100%, he did 50%.
We do not replace each other in anything.
The other 50 or the son fills it or life fills it or it becomes empty.
Guys, this is extremely important because our tendency is to replace others.
You can see that the other is always bad, our boss is a piece of shit and you think to yourself: Ah, if I were the boss I would be better than him.
You see that our rulers are never good, they are only good after they are dead, after they are dead they improve a lot.
The same thing we do with loved ones at home, you assume their position.
The woman who takes her husband’s position. No, she will do her part, but she will not replace, she will not denigrate, she will not judge, she will not separate.
And when we do that, it causes a huge problem in the field.
If we take life of Chico Xavier, you will see it clearly.
If you compare Chico’s father and Chico, the distance is huge.
Who watched the movie, who read about their lives, but you see that at no time Chico replaces his father, in any moment.
On the contrary, he is patient with the father, he guides the father, he submits when he has to submit to the father’s will, then he breaks with this process, he assumes the process of guiding the family, of guiding the brothers, to guide all those who are under their responsibility, but never replace the father, he adds.
You don’t see a passage, at least I don’t know a passage, no person who knew Chico at that time that I had contact says anything that tries to denigrate his father’s image.
That is, it acts as a complementary form.
The father stopped doing, for example, 80% of his things, I will complete as much as I can with my actions, but without excluding him.
“Ah, my husband is worthless, he is a drunk”, then the other: “Ah, my father is worthless, If it weren’t for me, my family would be lost”.
He still takes a hero’s position, but no, we can help. We have to have that compassion, that essential understanding and know that nobody replaces anybody.
Slide 09 – In any relationship exist a flow of giving and receiving
(Teacher reads slide)
“In all our relationships, fundamental needs interact with each other in complex ways:
- The need to belong, that is, to be connected.
- The need to preserve the balance between giving and receiving.
- The need for the security provided by social convention and predictability, ie, the need for order.”
People, this is our soul’s greatest need, the need to belong.
That’s why you see gang formation.
What is a gang? People who have nowhere to belong belong to a gang, belong to a graffiti artist who paints the city because everyone needs to belong.
So, we need to belong to a family. Have you ever noticed that when we meet family, we repeat the same story over and over again?
He goes to the family party at Christmas, there goes the one who tells a story and tells the same story again, that’s a mystical story. It’s like the stories of family origin and these mystical stories, they transform over time, new characters will appear, it will expand, it will lie and the story will become interesting because in fact it is the same story as archaic consciousness counted in the time of the tribes.
Why do you like to hear again? You say: Wow, I’ve heard that 100 times because I belong to that, I’m part of it.
That’s why you’re going to keep objects at home, you’re going to make a photo album, you’re going to have family stories, you’re going to repeat stories, you’re going to tell interesting stories because it’s your world, it’s where you belong.
So this belonging, this cut that belonging do is what generated the great social problems.
Jung has a study on this about the Second World War that is very interesting in Germany.
We were cutting it, for example, like all symbols we were cutting it thanks to that rationalism that we developed.
For example, you remember that in the old days, when a certain point arrived, the girl made her debut, she was introduced to society. At that point marked the time when she stopped being a little girl and started being a young woman and starting the relationship process.
The boy would send himself off to war shooting and still spoke like this: It’s for you to learn to be a man.
So we had very important milestones in society. This milestone has not evolved.
Of course you say: Are we going to keep doing this for the rest of our lives?
But no, it could evolve into important milestones because the awareness of belonging is fundamental. As these milestones were not constituted, today you see 40-year-old children living with their mothers.
No stage that identifies the output process. There are no more milestones and then you see the formation of a gang and say: But why is the guy part of a gang and in order to join the gang he has to kill someone to begin with? Because everyone has a need to belong.
I’ll give you an example, when the person goes there and takes the entrance exam, how is the celebration of the entrance exam? Isn’t the entrance exam hazing the same thing as watching a tribe’s hazing?
He paints, shaves his head, puts on paint, puts on something, hits, it’s the same thing as seeing a tribe doing a rite of passage.
And we do it without knowing why and you can see that every time you try to organize the hazing, it doesn’t work. The guy wants to do that, paint, apply paint, go there and even exaggerate, commit crimes, but you see that this is part of the primitive conscience: Belonging.
So it’s no use everyone wants to belong to someone, even those who say they don’t care, but he is there.
We all want to belong.
We could have replaced these rituals, we could have advanced, created new rituals of different conditions, advanced towards a greater transformation, leaving those social limitations, but without losing the field of belonging.
And you can see that everything you belong to, you exalt.
Take the Corinthians fans there: 30 million and a bunch of crazy people.
And the madmen all unite because they belong to that nation.
Why everyone together with each other? For the question of belonging.
A fan who has never met the other, but just because he was wearing the same shirt, he is capable of getting into a fight to separate and to help the other because it is a matter of belonging.
So today it was based on fans, today it was based on these issues because even the family framework is no longer set up within a belonging process.
It is not that belonging that excludes the other, no. But belonging to the family, valuing the family, in the positive sense.
“Wow, I belong to this family, the stories of this family belong to me”.
Now what did the person do?
He made the coat of arms and turned the coat of arms into something that excludes others.
We don’t need to have a coat of arms today, but what can we have? Affinity and history, which is why family histories are very important.
You can see that you repeat, you can see that there are half a dozen stories that you repeat, that you tell to another that tells to another.
Many times you go to a party and you like the version of that other person: “So and so, how was it?”, and the guy will tell the same story.
(Teacher reads slide again)
He does a very interesting study about it here.
So it shows, for example, let’s take a couple. It’s that story: When I met him, I already had a job and what did I do? I worked for him to study, I worked for him to graduate, and when he graduated, post-graduated and everything else, he went there and left me.
How many stories have we seen of this? Bert Hellinger does a study for this because there is a great balance between giving and receiving, it reaches a certain point that the person cannot give back.
So what does he teach?
All that was given must be received. “So, I’m going to study, I’m going to work here to support you while you study, but you’re going to work here on the weekend, at such and such hours and taking care of the house, doing this and doing that”.
“I’ll do it here, but you’re going to…, is that clear?”
It is never giving in the full sense. You have to give a position so that the person can give back and balance this process, always an exchange process. Logically, I’m not talking here about charitable relationships, actions of generosity, I’m talking about relationship actions.
And I’m not even talking about the son, the son is the one you’re going to give your whole life. And you can see that you give the child his whole life and that doesn’t unbalance anyone, but the couple when you argue is the first thing you say, is it or isn’t it? “I did this, this and this for you and you did what?” – At this moment of the discussion even comes up the gift that you gave.
“Remember the present I gave you? What did you give me? Came here and gave me a rose
When there is a mess, when there is an argument, these things come to the surface to show that giving and receiving are essential, it has to be compensated.
With a child there is no need because the father is already ready to donate, the father just waits for the child to respond.
In charity, in generosity it is to donate, to give for free what you have received for free, but in the relationship you can see that the relationship is not like that.
The relationship we want a balance.
When that balance goes too far, that’s why it breaks.
Say it like this: “I sacrificed my life for you and you leave me for that shameless one”.
Because you won’t find a way to give back, it doesn’t exist anymore, the thing has gotten much bigger, the balance has been broken. (Next semester we will study this a lot.)
(Teacher reads slide again)
It’s what we talked about here a little while ago: Order, father, mother and hierarchies. This order is not order in the sense of a closed hierarchy, but the order of each one occupies a role, and this role only he can play. No one steals another’s role.
You will be the father of your family and not the father of your father’s family.
So that’s what we’re going to think about next week. Each one thinks about how the relationship is.
Good night everyone and see you next week.
