Integration of the Being

Protagonist

Protagonist – The greatest wisdom of our protagonist was to love and thus tame pain.

Here the protagonist is Pietro Ubaldi, but it could be you, me, anyone..

The realization of the PROTAGONIST’s dreams was located far away from Earth. Here he was just a passing exile, heading elsewhere. He was not just living a brief existence in the world, but an immense life in eternity. He had been born and existed to produce a Work of thought that was not just a spiritual construction for the good of others.

Something indelible emerged from the PROTAGONIST’s past, powerful impressions that millennia have not had the strength to make us forget. For moments, like a vision, the memory of a dear and sublime figure emerged from the depths of his spirit, who embodied his ideal and constituted his model. I contemplated Him, recognized Him, could not forget Him. He, the Christ, was the center of his life, like a destiny that one cannot fail to follow.

The vision refers to the apostleship with Christ, in Galilee and throughout Palestine.

That light was before the guilt and after the atonement of the PROTAGONIST. Christ was the most palpitating attunement of that life and he always resurfaced before that soul, always with deep emotion. This was the furrow that was most heavily traced and that had become indelible there.

The Work represented the ascent to a new level of evolution that brought the PROTAGONIST ever closer to his model. It had entered its gravitational field, and its orbit could no longer revolve except around Him, Christ, restricting its spirals more and more.

Christ was resplendent in the PROTAGONIST’s destiny, in his past and in his future.

Evangelically, the PROTAGONIST supported and exercised the virtues of humility and patience.

The center of the PROTAGONIST’s life was in the spirit.

The Gospel for the PROTAGONIST was an affirmation, an achievement, an addition of life, an expansion, and not, as it meant for the world, a repression or a mutilation. That’s why he lived the Gospel: not for an effort of virtue, but for his own satisfaction. Deep down, he fulfilled himself according to his nature.

The PROTAGONIST’s past was undoubtedly extensive and rich in profound experiences.

THE PROTAGONIST had certainly committed a fall, which now fatally exclaimed justice and expiation.

The Protagonist refers to a reincarnation prior to this one who had descended spiritually.

THE PROTAGONIST operates the transformation itself, the spiritual ascension.

THE PROTAGONIST by intuition had obtained a vision of the organic functioning of the universe.

THE PROTAGONIST saw the great and beloved figure of Christ walk through the Lands of Galilee, on the shores of Lake Tiberias; from Bethlehem to Nazareth to Jerusalem; from the poor manger to Gethsemane and Golgotha.

The evangelists mention only two apostles who accompanied Christ from Gethsemane to Golgotha, Peter and John. This vision is in chapter thirty of History of a Man, rich in detail with a footnote. It is the reincarnation of Pietro Ubaldi two thousand years ago, in Palestine.
