Renunciation – Faced with the impulse of evolution, man feels more the pity of renouncing his world and the separation from his own materiality, than the joy of growing up in a larger world, linking himself to a higher form of life: that of the spirit.
The human being is immediatist, he prefers this world, which sees and touches, although transitory, to the other that neither sees nor touches, but is eternal.
Renouncing – Renouncing one’s selfishness in order to collaborate with one’s fellow man is not only an evangelical rule, but also a social progress: it is a law of evolution of life for everyone, regardless of religion or philosophy.
